Morning Food Pantry Volunteer - Indian Trail
Description:

Monday - Friday (10am-1pm), Saturday (10:15-12:45pm), Sunday (10am-12pm)

Assist in pantry to weigh and sort food donations, helps pack food, stock shelves, and put food away in refrigerators and freezers. Help keep pantry clean and organized.

 

Saturday (7:30am-10:30am) Cupboard Ally Packing

Assist in packing non perishable boxes for families based on size and diets. Amount of families depends on the week. 

Packing bread/sweets, produce, and meat bags.

Loading up volunteer vehicles under the direction of the pantry manager.

 

Volunteers must wear closed-toed shoes for safety and are advised to dress comfortably to be physically active in whatever the outside temperature is the day they serve. The pantry are is enclosed, but not climate controlled.
