Description:

Volunteers would assist in:

  • screening height, weight, body mass index,
  • blood pressure
  • educate the population about nutrition, exercise, sun safety, and bone health.

Population served: Individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

 

Volunteers needed: general volunteers, medical volunteers, MPH students, dietetic students, dietitians, public health professionals, and public health students. 

 

A t-shirt and lunch will be provided.

 

Please note that the volunteers will be required to stay the entire time. Please make arrangements accordingly.
