Pack Food Boxes for Distribution-Evening Shift (Agency Site)

Jesus Embassy LA (JELA) hosts food distributions every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month. Volunteers are needed to help preassemble and distribute food boxes.

 

Requirements & Skills: 

• Must be 18 years or older 
• Comfortable working outdoors
• Be able to lift up to 40 lbs 
• Be able to stand for long periods of time
• Does not accept court-referred volunteers.

Parking:

• Onsite parking available

Dress Code:

• Due to safety concerns, all volunteers must wear close-toed shoes (no sandals or flip flops) 
• Dress in weather appropriate clothing 

Supervision: 

• On-site Volunteer Coordinator will work directly with all volunteers.

COVID-19 Response: 

• Jesus Embassy LA is implementing social distancing, and providing masks and gloves to all their volunteers.
