Help Prospect Park Alliance care for its 55 acre lake during our special clean-up series Park Pitch In: Lake Appreciation. During the month of July, Prospect Park will host cleanup projects on select Saturdays and Sundays to show Brooklyn's only lake some love. Volunteers will be given grabbers, nets, and bags to help fish out trash from along the shoreline of our Lake. Volunteers will also have the opportunity to remove invasive, unwanted wild growing plants from along the Lake, as well as apply mulch to paths.
Individual Teens and Adults can volunteer for any of the timeslots.
Timeslots for Families are listed below. All participants aged 9-13 must be supervised by an adult.
