Opportunity Name: School Tools
Description: School Tools is our school supply department. Volunteers in this department assist in many ways from helping teachers shop, carry their packages to their vehicle, stocking shelves, checking teachers in or out, data entry and more. This is a very busy place in the SETX Food Bank and regular volunteers are needed. Please sign up for each day you are able to work and if you cannot attend an event you signed up for, please go back into the system and un-register or call the office so we can take you off the list for that day. Many times, there is a wait list of other volunteers who wish to take your place. Teens, (13 to 17 yrs. old) are able to volunteer in this department only if accompanied by an adult, who must also be in the system and work along with the young person. No children under the age of 13 are allowed to volunteer. Volunteers are not allowed to bring young children with them while they volunteer. Questions, please call the office at 409-839-8777 ext. 116
