Description:

The Salvation Army of Oak Cliff is proud to be a place of refuge for individuals, families, or anyone else that is needing assistance when the heat index 100 degrees Fahrenheit or above. 

 

Volunteers are needed to assist with not limited to under the guidance of our officers at the location. Greeting incoming individuals, monitoring food and water stations, monitoring the rest area, participating in site set-up and tear-down, and engage in on-site activities.

 

Volunteers must be 17 years or older. Please wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. Volunteers Park in the lot directly across from the Oak Cliff Corps.

Recurring volunteers will need to complete a background check and fulfill our Safe from Harm Training and have either a physical or digital copy of their certificate on file.
