Description: Mayor Dyer’s Beautify Fresno initiative is hosting a cleanup event in the Jackson Neighborhood on Saturday, July 20, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. This event will focus on cleaning the area bordered by Ventura, Cedar, Balch and Sixth Street, including alleys. Volunteers are asked to meet at House of the Gospel Church no later than 7:45 a.m. to check in and for a brief orientation. All volunteers are required to sign a Liability Waiver form prior to participating in this event. To speed up the check-in process, we encourage you to sign the release waiver electronically prior to the event by visiting https://appdev.fresno.gov/beautify/jackson. All participants under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian sign for them. Beautify Fresno will provide safety vests, paper pickers, gloves, and trash bags, along with pre-packaged snacks and bottled water.
