This fun event benefits Food Share! We need help at the front gate handing out the souvenir glasses and event information. Please be flexible, job duties may change when you arrive based on need. MUST be 18+ for this volunteer opportunity.
What to wear: layers, hat, and sunscreen! Bring water. You will be outside with some possibility of overhead covering. Close-toed shoes a MUST. You will be standing the entire time. Wear your Food Share volunteer badge!
Please do NOT bring any personal items inside with you that you can't keep on your person. There will be nowhere to securely hold them while you're working.
You may stay and enjoy the event after your volunteer shift but I can't guarantee a souvenir glass.
Parking: please just park in the general event parking lot at the Fairgrounds and proceed to the front gate. Tell security that you are volunteering to work the front gate. |
