Learn about our Corporate Program



Join us to help care for Brooklyn’s Backyard this August. You can gain experience and sharpen your greening skills by using gardening tools at the Park. Volunteers will assist in tasks such as invasive plant removal, trail maintenance, litter pick up, and other landscaping needs. The group meets at a different location every Thursday.  If you RSVP, you will receive a reminder email with the meeting location.

 

Be advised, that these projects involve repetitive bending, kneeling, lifting, and transporting loaded wheelbarrows. This opportunity requires using caution with sharp tools and certain plants and materials. Appropriate for teens 14-17 only.

Meeting Location: Lookout Hill: Take the F/G train to the 15th St/Prospect Park Station. Walk down Park Southwest until you reach the intersection at 16th St. Enter the park at 16th Street and walk across the drive to Lookout Hill. Meet by steps on Center Drive across from Quaker Cemetery.
