Softball Refreshments, Gubler

For this opportunity, volunteers will complete the following:

• *If you are not doing the first shift of the day, please plan to arrive 10 minutes early to receive brief instruction/status from the previous volunteer.
• Check in on your phone when you arrive and proceed to the Snack Bar/Restroom building.
• You will find a box of Huntsman World Senior Games volunteer t-shirts in the room containing the fruit supplies.  Please wear the shirt during your shift.  If you have multiple shifts, please take the shirt at the first shift and wear it on subsequent shifts.
• Two volunteers will work at the complex during each shift
• Your main job is to keep the fruit bowls stocked and water jugs filled. All the extra fruit is stored in a room of the snack bar building. Fill the water jugs from gallons of water stored near the fruit or under the table.
• Table setup includes a tablecloth with three fruit bowls, 2 water jugs, and cups placed on top. Also a sign that says the fruit is for athletes only. 
• Fruit may be loaded into the bowls from the boxes hidden under the table between each game and make sure the boxes below are stocked from the storage room. The bowls are filled with apples, oranges, and bananas. Refill as necessary (up to full but not overflowing). You have a wagon to use to transport boxes of fruit between the storage room and the tables.
• Please store the bowls, fruit, tablecloth, and empty water containers in the fruit storage room at the end of the day. We will refill the water containers off-site.
• Please plan to update each shift volunteer as you leave and someone else comes on.

• We encourage you to sign up for more than one shift. Sign up with a friend!

*Please be aware that the field schedules will not be finalized until about a week before the Games start. As such, it is possible that there will be a day or two that the ending time may be moved to earlier, and in that case, the last shift of the day may be eliminated or shortened. Once we know that for sure, if you have signed up for one of those days, you will be notified.
