Triathlon Support

As a Triathlon Support volunteer, you'll be essential to the smooth operation and safety of our race.  Below are some of the responsibilities you may be assigned. Please arrive 15 minutes before your shift. 

 

Packet and Starting Line Helpers: Assist with welcoming athletes, distributing race packets and bibs, organizing racers into categories, and lining them up for the start.

 

Swim Helpers: Provide support at the swim start and finish areas, assist athletes with their gear, and ensure a smooth transition in and out of the water.

 

Lifeguards: Ensure the safety of athletes during the swim portion, monitor the water, and provide immediate assistance if needed.

 

Transition Aides: Help athletes in the transition area by organizing equipment, guiding them to the correct spots, and ensuring a smooth and efficient transition between race segments.

 

Finish Line Chip Removers: Remove timing chips from athletes at the finish line, providing a seamless end to their race experience. These positions can also assist at the starting line or swim areas as needed.
