KANSAS CITY - Agency Pantry (Calvary Comm Outreach)

48 percent of Harvesters agencies reported having no full-time staff.   They rely on volunteers like you to make sure that the community receives the food they need.

 

Volunteers make it possible for pantries to distribute food.  This is an indoor/outside opportunity.  Tasks include:

    Assisting with traffic flow

    Managing sign-in sheets

    Loading food into cars

    Lifting 5-10 pounds repetitively

    Assisting with cleanup, including emptying trash and boxes

 

Please note the following requirements:

    Keep client information confidential

    Wear closed toe and heel shoes

        Open shoes include, but are not limited to, sandals, Crocs and clogs

Age Requirements

    Must be 18 years or older

Physical Requirements

    Lift 5-10 pounds repetitively

    Stand for the entire shift

    Bend repetitively

    Work outside in hot and cold weather
