Those who have volunteered at the Zoo 2022-2023, please sign up for the slots labeled "2023 Zoo volunteer".

Master Gardeners talk plants, pollinators, and being good earth stewards with Zoo guests at the Oregon Zoo Education Center. Lots of interaction with parents and youth. Close work with Metro education specialists.

 

Prerequisite: Prior to volunteering view this video. and review this document: Oregon Zoo expectations of volunteers.

 

Some important reminders:

• Parking is limited and metered. You will need to pay for parking. The cost is $8 for all day parking.  You can use the Parking Kitty app or pay at the kiosks. Commuting by bus or MAX is recommended.
  
• Arrive 5 to 10 minutes prior to your shift. If you are driving allow plenty of extra time to find parking.
  
• Enter at Gate F (Paul Sanford, Metro, will meet you there to open the gate)
