This is one of North East Indiana's longest running annual butterfly counts!

 

Come to Park Headquarters any time after 10:00am and one of us will get you started with some tips and field guides; no experience is needed for this opportunity! There are even several "unidentified butterfly" columns on the data sheets :) 

 

  • You can count as long as you would like 
  • Stop at Park Headquarters to check-in and pick up a data sheet
  • Carly or one of the staff will direct you to an area that still needs counted
  • count butterflies and try to identify them
  • stay as long or as short as you want and have fun!
