Opportunity Name:
ILS AOS Clinic: Printing Station (GN)

Description:

Opening Doors' Immigration Legal Services is hosting an Adjustment of Status (AOS) clinic on Monday, July 22, in Sacramento for pro se Afghan AOS seekers and we are reaching out to volunteers for help. Opening Doors needs 2 volunteers to help with administrative support at the clinic, specifically at the printing station.

The clinic will go from 9 am to approximately 2 pm. Printing station volunteers will be asked to arrive by 10 am. For this clinic, we need volunteers who can help with copying, scanning, and printing applications and general support during the clinic. No experience is necessary, though general familiarity with printers and scanners is preferred. This opportunity may require some walking around but will mostly be seated.

There is often some down time during this volunteer opportunity because the printing does not begin until the applications are completed in the clinic. Please feel welcome to bring something with you to pass the time.

Training will be provided on the day of the clinic. Although this volunteer opportunity will not include any direct legal work, it will be a great opportunity to learn more about the AOS application process.
