Opportunity Name: Historic Chinatown Cleanup Event - June 2024
Description: Mayor Dyer’s Beautify Fresno initiative is hosting a cleanup event in the historic Chinatown District on Saturday, June 29, 2024. We will be cleaning the area bordered by Fresno and Ventura Streets to the north and south, and E to G Streets to the east and west. The event will take place between 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Volunteers are asked to meet in the Central Fish parking lot, 1535 Kern St, no later than 8:45 a.m. to sign in and receive instructions. All volunteers are required to sign a Liability Waiver form prior to participating in this event. To speed up the check-in process, we encourage you to sign the release waiver electronically prior to the event by visiting https://appdev.fresno.gov/beautify/Chinatown. All participants under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian sign for them. Beautify Fresno will provide safety vests, paper pickers, gloves, and trash bags, along with snacks and bottled water.
