If you've ever walked through the park on summer Monday mornings, you have witnessed the amount of trash left behind from the weekend. While the Fort Greene Park crew is fantastic at cleaning up quickly, we could always use additional hands!
Mondays from 8 AM to 10 AM, meet Kai, our Program Associate, in the park to borrow a cleaning kit and pick up litter during the course of your visit. Whether you only have 10 minutes or can stay the full two hours, all help is appreciated. The clean-up kit station rotates weekly.
No pre-registration is required, but be sure to reach out to the event organizer to learn where we will set up this week! |
