Opportunity Name: Mayor's Citywide Community CleanUP Day 2024 - YOU CHOOSE!
Description: We're inviting you to participate in the annual Mayor's Citywide Community CleanUP Day on Saturday, August 3 between 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. AND we're making the event even easier to enjoy by letting you choose your own location to clean that morning! If you have a street, park, trail, alley, waterfront – anywhere you see trash that needs to be picked up – register here as a volunteer. We’ll send you an online form where you can let us know the location you want to clean and how many people will join you that morning and we’ll take care of the rest. Beautify Fresno will give you and your group, no matter the size, all the materials you’ll need for your own cleanup including paper pickers, trash bags and gloves (that you can keep!) and trash pickup after your cleanup is finished. All volunteers are required to sign a Liability Waiver form prior to participating in this event. To speed up the check-in process, we encourage you to sign the release waiver electronically prior to the event by visiting https://appdev.fresno.gov/beautify/MCCCD. All participants under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian sign for them. The first 1,500 participants to sign up will receive a free Beautify Fresno event t-shirt (S, M, L, XL, XXL) and a ticket to “Beautify Fresno Night” with the Fresno Grizzlies on Saturday, August 5. After the cleanup event is done, everyone is invited to our Thank You Celebration at Manchester Center from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., with free food from local food trucks, music, and some activities for the kids!
