Athlete Check-In, Dixie Center

Join our dynamic team as a volunteer at the Registration area to check in our athletes during the Huntsman World Senior Games!  Shifts are typically four hours long and are not full-day commitments.  Volunteers are encouraged to register for multiple different shifts per week.

 

Your contribution will be invaluable in ensuring the smooth running of the Games and creating a memorable experience for all participants. You will report to the Registration room at the Northeast end of the Dixie Center for your shift.  You will check in at the desk just inside the room to your left.   Parking is located on the Northeast side of the Dixie Center in the rear, north of the employee parking lot.  The GPS location for parking is located below.  Please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to your shift time.  We have need for three pivotal roles. 

 

Athlete Check-in

In this role, volunteers should have light computer skills, be able to read from computer screens, and be able to write and peel/apply stickers to badges.  You will validate the athlete's identity, generate their official ID badge, give out softball wristbands if applicable, and direct athletes to the next step in the process. 

 

Athlete Check-in Greeter

In this role, our volunteers will greet athletes, ask them to have their photo ID and QR Code ready to present and direct them to the correct line. You will be standing or sitting to greet athletes.

 

Athlete Check-In Exit

In this role you will direct athletes who have completed their check-in to the area where they will pick up their welcome bag and shirt.  You will be standing or sitting while directing athlete traffic.
