Service Project Details

PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION BELOW BEFORE SIGNING UP

This will serve as the project to build a list of volunteers for fall elk hazing projects.

The projects will include hazing elk in the Carnation, Snoqualmie Valley, and possibly Green Valley areas.

Once the details get figured out in the late summer, there will be a mandatory orientation for each property to be eligible for those projects.

The steps to get on these projects: get on this list now, once projects populate, go to a mandatory orientation, sign up for properties.

These hazing projects will be overnight, very low impact, like honking your vehicle horn, playing loud music, creating noise deterrents, and possibly more. There will be safety measures put in place for volunteers and the property owners including but not limited to check in check out procedures, emergency contact lists, vehicle information list, etc. The goal is to prevent the elk from entering, not haze them once they are on the property to minimize damage.

There will be no restrictions on number of hours you can earn, it's however many time slots you sign up for. (project listing for now will say 20 but that's not right).
