Service Project Details

With an estimated over 100,000 visitors each year, West Peterson Park is one of Story County's busiest! We are currently in search of a volunteer to assist us in keeping the park looking its best on the weekends, when use is the highest.

WHAT: Volunteer to empty trash cans in both bathrooms, at beach, and at boat ramp; and to wipe down the bathrooms. Then, bring any trash to McFarland Park dumpster for disposal.
WHEN: Saturday and Sunday mornings
WHERE: West Peterson Park
WHY: Keep West Peterson Park looking its best and best serving park users!

All supplies (trash bags, gloves, etc.) will be provided. If interested in signing up but only able to commit to one morning each weekend, please reach out directly as we can certainly make those accomodations.
