Service Project Details

As a PPAM volunteer you will be the friendly face of Pikes Peak - America’s Mountain (PPAM). Most of our guests are not locals, and many are visiting for the first and only time. You can help them enjoy it!

Duties can include but are not limited to:

Answering guest queries at the Summit at the Information desk
Assisting in interpretive programs at Glen Cove and/or Crystal Reservoir
Attending and assisting special outreach programs including but not limited to our National Donut Day, Youth Fishing Derby, Rocky Ram’s Holiday Spectacular, trash clean-up days, in school and on-site field trips, and outreach tables at partnering parks and open spaces.

Training dates and times will be provided on a case-by-case basis.

Volunteers must be able to commit to one shift per month for the season, (Memorial Day-Labor Day)

Shifts are Friday, Saturday, Sunday 8:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. and 11:00 a.m. -3:00 p.m.

Additional Information:

As a thank you, volunteers will receive a free yearlong PPAM Premier Vehicle Pass yearly after fulfilment of seasonal time commitment, and a 50% discount on food and 30% on merchandise at the Summit Complex, Glen Cove, and Crystal Reservoir gift shops.

Transportation from Pikes Peak Gateway to the summit will be provided, but volunteers will be responsible for their own transportation to the Gateway in Cascade.
